The Bell AH-1 Cobra was the world's first all-combat helicopter and was delivered to the U.S. Army in the mid-1960s. Previously, there were only armed transport helicopters.

In addition, the maximum flight altitude is limited to 8 meters, which makes the model easy to control and reduces the risk of operating errors.

The helicopter supports both Mode 1 and Mode 2 and can therefore be flexibly adapted to different control habits. In stabilized flight mode, the model is great for beginners, while experienced pilots can switch to manual mode. In this expert mode, larger servo deflections and manual adjustment of the pitch angle are available directly via the remote control, which enables much more dynamic flight behavior. Inverted flight can be activated at the touch of a button, with the flight characteristics and steering directions corresponding to normal flight.
